Reptile Like Me develops and operates Ghost Glide. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Ghost Glide mobile application.
Information stored on your device
Ghost Glide stores game information locally on your device so the game can remember your progress and preferences. This may include:
- Best scores and rooms cleared
- Spirit Points
- Unlocked and selected ghost costumes
- Sound preferences
- Whether introductory content has already been viewed
Reptile Like Me does not currently receive this locally stored game information. Deleting Ghost Glide may delete this information from your device.
Game Center
Ghost Glide uses Apple Game Center for player authentication and leaderboards. When you use Game Center, Apple may process information associated with your Apple Account, Game Center profile, gameplay activity, and leaderboard submissions according to Apple’s privacy policies and Game Center terms.
Ghost Glide submits eligible gameplay scores to the Ghost Glide Game Center leaderboard when you are authenticated. Reptile Like Me does not receive your Apple Account password.
Advertising
The current development version of Ghost Glide does not include a third-party advertising SDK. If advertising is added before or after release, this policy and the App Store privacy information will be updated to identify the provider and describe its data practices before that version is distributed.
Analytics and diagnostics
The current development version of Ghost Glide does not include a third-party analytics SDK. If an analytics or crash-reporting provider is added, this policy and the App Store privacy information will be updated before that version is distributed.
Tracking and permissions
If a future version of Ghost Glide uses information to track users across apps or websites owned by other companies, Ghost Glide will request permission through Apple’s AppTrackingTransparency system before tracking occurs. You may change tracking permission in iPhone Settings.
Information you provide for support
If you contact Reptile Like Me for support, you may choose to provide your email address, device model, iOS version, app version, screenshots, and a description of the problem. This information will be used to respond to your request and troubleshoot the issue.
How information is used
Information described in this policy may be used to operate Ghost Glide, maintain game functionality, provide support, diagnose problems, measure performance, prevent abuse, and improve the game.
Sharing with service providers
Reptile Like Me may share limited information with service providers that perform services for Ghost Glide, such as Apple Game Center and any providers identified in a future revision of this policy. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies.
Reptile Like Me does not sell personal information directly.
Retention and deletion
Game progress stored locally remains on your device until the app data or the app is removed. Support communications may be retained only as long as reasonably necessary to answer the request, maintain support records, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations.
To request deletion of personal information you have provided directly to Reptile Like Me, email support@reptilelikeme.com. Apple and other third-party providers control deletion requests for information they process independently.
Your choices
- You can choose not to use Game Center or sign out through Apple settings.
- You can change applicable tracking permission in iPhone Settings.
- You can delete locally stored Ghost Glide information by removing the app, subject to any device backup behavior controlled by Apple.
- You can request deletion of information submitted directly to Reptile Like Me through Ghost Glide Support.
Children’s privacy
Ghost Glide is not intended to collect personal information directly from children. Reptile Like Me does not knowingly request personal information from children through the game. Any future advertising or analytics configuration will be reviewed for the game’s App Store age rating and applicable children’s privacy requirements before distribution.
Security
Reptile Like Me uses reasonable measures appropriate to the information it handles. No electronic storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when Ghost Glide features, service providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of this policy identifies the latest revision.
